# Delete your account

> Remove your name and details from a business, or sign out everywhere.

You can delete your account at a business yourself. Your name, contact details, notes and forms are removed from that business.

## Before you start

* Cancel any upcoming bookings. See [Cancel a booking](/customers/your-account/cancel-a-booking).
* Pay anything you still owe. See [Pay what you owe](/customers/paying/pay-what-you-owe).
* Wait for a running membership to end. Stop it first if you haven't. See [Freeze or stop your membership](/customers/your-account/freeze-or-stop-a-membership).

Until then, the page says what's in the way.

## Delete it

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open your account">
    Sign in on the business's booking site, select your photo or initials at the top, then select the **Account** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open Your data">
    At the bottom, select **Your data**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Read what's removed and what stays. Type **delete** in the box, then select **Delete my account**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  This can't be undone. What you paid stays in the business's records without your name, because they have to keep it for tax.
</Warning>

You're signed out. Your account at other businesses isn't affected.

## Sign out everywhere

If you signed in on a phone or computer that isn't yours, go to the **Account** tab and, under **Signing in**, select **Sign out everywhere**, then confirm. You're signed out on every device, this one included. Sign in again with a code sent to your email.
