# See who opened a chart

> Check who viewed, changed, signed or exported each client's chart.

The access log records every time someone opens, changes, signs or exports a chart, with when and on what device. Only owners see it.

## Open the access log

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Charting">
    Go to **Settings**, **Business**, then **Charting**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Access log">
    Select **Access log**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Filter it">
    Narrow it down by **Person**, **Client**, **Action**, **From** and **To**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Each row shows **When**, **Person**, **Action**, **Client** and **Device**. When someone views the same chart several times within a few minutes, it shows as one row with the count.

To see the log for one chart entry, open the entry, select the menu at the top (**More actions**), then **Access log**.

## Export the log

Select **Export CSV** to download the log with your filters applied. The CSV lists every view on its own row.

## Good to know

* Actions include **Viewed**, **Edited**, **Signed**, **Amended**, **Downloaded PDF**, **Exported records**, **Added photo** and **Viewed medical summary**.
* Each night Onsuki checks the day before. When someone viewed more than 50 clients' charts in one day, exported more than 5 times, or opened charts more than two hours outside your business hours, a note appears at the top of the access log.
* If Onsuki support opens a chart to help you, the row says **Opened by Onsuki support**.
